FASCIA & RAINWATER SYSTEMS
Iconic Cladding offers a wide range of options for the supply & installation of Fascia & Rainwater systems (guttering) for residential and commercial properties. With years of expertise, we provide efficient and reliable solutions to protect your building from water damage. We offer standard spouting profiles like ¼ round, 150mm half round and a wide range of box gutters.
Roof Drainage
Metal Spouting & Fascia have been used for many years, with their origins in Europe as cast lead pipes and rain heads on cathedrals and churches. Also in zinc and copper. We offer a full range of gutter profiles, including custom designed and in most metals, such as Colorsteel, Colorcote, copper, Zinc, Aluminum and Stainless Steel. Consideration should be given for the potential reaction between metals such as copper running onto colorsteel will degrade the steel, or Colorsteel roofs running into galvanised gutters. Please refer to the RANZ guide for further information on compatible materials.
PVC products have a greater coefficient of thermal expansion and require room to move. Expansion joints should be included and a greater number of gutter brackets are required
Metal fascia systems are typically around 180mm deep, which suits most residential projects, however we can supply 250 and 300mm prepainted metal fascias and fabricate Aluminium and other custom fascia caps, to sleeve a timber liner. The options are endless.
Metal downpipes, typically rolled and swaged together and usually 80-100mm in diameter, can match wall cladding and spouting, however are not suitable for pressurised systems where your rainwater tanks are above ground. We can source and install a range of diameter metal pipes including copper and stainless without swaged joins.
Membrane Roofing
We offer a range of membrane roofing options, with Butyl and TPO being the most common choices. Butyl, an economical option, is adhered to a ply substrate and incorporates a lapped tape join. TPO, on the other hand, is secured to the substrate and features heat-welded laps using localized heat. This method not only provides enhanced durability but also contributes to a more watertight system when installed correctly.
Membrane internal gutter systems are designed to efficiently channel rainwater away from your roof, preventing water-related issues and ensuring the long-term integrity of your property.
It’s essential to note that we do not recommend Torch on Membrane use in refurbishment projects due to the associated fire risk.
